An office glass partition quotation may cover the partition system without including delivery, unloading or installation. Knowing where the supplier’s responsibility ends helps you compare quotations and avoid unexpected costs.
At Egood, our glass partition systems are made to order, and we typically quote EXW prices. Many overseas customers use their own freight forwarders in China, so we can also arrange delivery to their designated warehouses.
Here is what to check before confirming an order.
Does the EXW Price Include Delivery to Your Freight Forwarder?
Under EXW terms, delivery to your freight forwarder’s warehouse is not automatically included.
If your forwarder has a warehouse in Guangzhou, Shenzhen or another Chinese city, Egood can arrange domestic transportation at an agreed additional cost.
To confirm the arrangement, we normally need:
The warehouse address and receiving contact
Receiving hours and any delivery appointment requirements
Warehouse reference numbers or booking instructions, if applicable
Any restrictions on package dimensions or unloading
We can also discuss FOB or DDP quotations if you prefer a different shipping arrangement. The applicable trade term, named location and included services should be stated in the quotation.
If you already have a reliable freight forwarder, there is usually no reason to pay for shipping services you do not need.
Who Unloads the Wooden Crates?
Egood’s office glass partitions are made to order, and the wooden crates are customized according to the dimensions of each project. Crate lengths can vary depending on the glass panels and aluminum profiles being shipped.
For longer or heavier crates, forklift unloading may be necessary. However, not every freight forwarder’s warehouse provides unloading equipment or staff.
Before arranging delivery, we recommend confirming that your forwarder’s warehouse can receive and unload the crates.
Once the packing details are finalized, Egood can provide the crate dimensions, quantities and weights for your forwarder to check.
Any unloading or handling charges should be confirmed separately, including for DDP shipments.
Is Installation Part of the Quotation?
Installation is charged separately and is not included in Egood’s standard product quotation.
Many overseas customers use local installation contractors. For these projects, a supply-only quotation may be the more economical option.
If manufacturer installation guidance or on-site support is required, the service scope and charges should be agreed separately.

What Should Be Confirmed Before Placing an Order?
Before accepting a quotation, check that both parties agree on the following:
